Restoring the Sanctity of Home 🏠

Not everybody’s most sacred work is out there in the world.

For some people it’s restoring the sanctity of home.

For those clearing lineages of domestic abuse and violence.

Restoring the home to a place of deep peace, emotional stability and unconditional acceptance is one of the most valuable things you can gift to the future of your lineage.

This will ripple out into generations to come.

And is by no means easy.

This is turning towards the unhealed pain and deciding it goes no further.

This is embracing the parts of you that reject and rebel against home altogether as it has been inherently unsafe.

This is holding hands with the part of you that grew up in and perpetuates violence, usually towards yourself.

The parts of you that are rooted in shame, self loathing and deep grief.

Until the whispers of your natural voice begin to rise..

And the oceanic waters of the Great Mother soothe and calm all that’s been petrified.

The gentle hearth fire begins to melt away all that’s been hardened and frozen.

And the home you begin to create becomes an extension of the safety you have found by turning towards your deepest and most authentic self.

Hearth and home become not a place of terror and unsafety.

But an ancestral altar that restores the sanctity of your lineage.
